Our Story

From a Small Idea to a Big Mission

Little Endeavor Education began in 2018 when founder Elena Martinez witnessed firsthand the educational disparities facing children in her San Francisco neighborhood. What started as an after-school reading program in her living room has grown into a nonprofit serving thousands of children across California.

Our name reflects our belief that even small efforts—little endeavors—can create profound change. Every book donated, every tutoring session held, every scholarship awarded represents a step toward breaking the cycle of poverty through education.

Today, we partner with 15 schools, engage over 500 volunteers, and have helped more than 2,500 children access the educational resources they deserve.
